Carole Miles: Practice - I am an artist in the public realm fascinated by layers, light, histories, lost and forgotten spaces, urban decay, rural isolation, places of peace, mystery and quiet contemplation, wide skies, spacious landscapes, growth, change, memory and communication. I find it hard to resist the lure of windows, doors, walkways, paths, gardens recording what I see through the lens, altering space in a temporary fashion and altering images through digital manipulation to create layers, textures and fragments.
